We did not even get undressed. Can I still be pregnant?

Q)Last month I slept with a boy, but we didn't have sex (not any genital contact at all). I am a virgin. We did not even get undressed. All we did was lie in bed and kiss. Ever since, I have been paranoid that maybe somehow, some sperm got inside my clothes and made me pregnant. My period is late this month. I am already a week late, and I am a nervous wreck. I think that I have pregnancy symptoms and I even went and bought a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. I read that just being stressed out about being pregnant can delay your period, but it will have to arrive sometime, won't it? How long should I wait for it before I go see my doctor?

A)

If you did not have sex and there was no penetration involving sperm, you are not pregnant! Yes, being stressed out may delay your period, but it should come next month or sooner. If you are still concerned about this, see your healthcare provider.
